In the train to London I realized that I got sick. This was especially clear when I could not figure out how to buy discounted tickets for the Tube. The cashier was pushing single tickets for 4 pounds each. I knew it made no sense, but it took me several minutes to realize that we needed to buy Oyster cards. We found the hotel without problems, it was close (5 minutes) to Oxford Circus, next to BBC House. Having settled in the hotel we went to a nearby Turkish restaurant for dinner. A guy tried to talk to me on the street and I had to admit that I could barely understand various English dialects.
