The only reason for Liverpool to exist

... is the Beatles. This maybe an exaggeration, but not by much.

We arrived to Manchester early in the morning, by 7 a.m., dropped the luggage at our hotel and took the slow suburbain train to Liverpool. After briefly checking two rather modern cathedrals, we went directly to the Beatles exposition.

I think Dan knew at least 90 % of the facts presented there, but he was very excited after we finished. After a sour lunch, we took a bus tour to see the Beatles places (Lennon's house, Penny Lane, etc). At the end we stopped at The Cavern club where I tasted Guiness beer (it was good).
