Moscow, arrival

Today we came to Moscow without any problems. In the morning, we had our standard Viennese fare - melange/coffee/cappouchino and five hours later after an uneventful flight we passed the border control (not much changed!) and checked in for the flight to Nizhnii Novgorod. Domodedovo is a nice airport, people are nice enough around us. The border control guard evaluated Dan's passport for several minutes, then he got into a conversation with another guard, then he studied my passport for several more minutes. Finally and unexpectedly, he asked me:
-What's your patronymic name?
Well, he almost got me, but I regrouped and replied (correctly). That was the end of the border control - Welcome back Mister. Dan had a fresh strawberry juice to ease the transition and the jet lag. The Internet is widely available and life seems to be generally good, though expensive. We passed the security screening for the internal flights - no nonsense, with the pat down at the end. Only women were employed at these positions; I guess, PC did not make it to the Russian soil. The plane (Boing-737) to Nizhnii was half an hour late, but that was OK.
